Sophomore Year

Here is the place to find out all of the moments that were had during my second year at JMU, commonly known as one’s sophomore year. I live in Potomac Hall this year, way out on the CISAT campus. Due to the location, I have some serious walking ahead of me, at least on days when my scooter (yes, it’s a razor-type scooter) can’t be used due to weather.

Plus, don’t forget those miscellaneous pictures from life…

Wacky-Tacky Skate Night at Skatetown in Harrisonburg is not only fun, but it also benefits needy children. While I will not participate (fear of embarrassment on skates), I love taking pictures of the people’s costumes. I particularly like this costume, though it must have been extremely warm under all those layers. The generator only powers the few lights here and there that continue to function during a power outage. It turns out that the outage was caused by a problem with a transformer, which left CISAT and half of Harrisonburg without power for about three hours in the middle of the night.

One day before Economics, we were talking about The Schumin Web, and the "Back" quote came up (Quote Archives, Fourth Quarter 2000). Since there was no computer in Zane Showker 202, I explained with an illustration of it.

We got a visit from Oxayna McMattas, who is from Britain, one Thursday night. We ended up watching The Little Mermaid with her.

PIED! There was a "Pie your hall staff" program on the Sunday before finals, and here the two Amys get it - right in the face.
