Messing with the Mavica

Gotta love summer session. You really get a chance to bond with the people left on campus in the summer. In May, it was my friend Sarah Jones who was on campus and living in McGraw-Long (the summer dorm). Sarah needed the Mavica for a Schumin-esque photo set that she wanted to try, and so of course before I let it out of my hands for an evening, I made sure she knew what she was doing with it. And sometimes practice with the camera lends itself to beauty in the final result. This was it. Take a look…

Sometimes, the strangest things get stuck together, as a health-food bar, a cigarette, and a piece of gum come together to form one big... mess.

Sarah also photographed her foot. Cuba did Sarah's toenails just a few days before this picture was taken, and he did a good job, don't you think?
